1. Scope
This policy applies to marketplace orders, including Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, classified listings, resale platforms, and person-to-person purchases.
2. Customer Risk Allocation
Movygo does not verify sellers, listings, payment demands, item ownership, title, authenticity, or condition. The customer remains solely responsible for the purchase transaction, the seller relationship, any pay-on-behalf instruction, and all fraud risk associated with the item.
3. Driver Role Limits
Drivers are not inspectors, authenticators, escrow agents, appraisers, or payment guarantors. Unless a separate in-app feature expressly states otherwise, drivers are not required to test electronics, verify serial numbers, negotiate prices, or resolve seller disputes.
4. Failed Seller Scenarios
If the seller does not appear, refuses release, changes terms, presents a different item, or the listing appears fraudulent, the trip may be cancelled and applicable one-way, waiting, or cancellation charges may apply.
5. Best Practices
- Confirm seller identity and exact pickup details in advance.
- Do not send drivers to unknown or unsafe locations without clear contact information.
- Do not rely on drivers to verify authenticity or legality of marketplace goods.
- Use secure payment methods and inspect items yourself where possible.
