1. Scope
This policy describes how Movygo Inc. ("Movygo") handles personal information for driver applicants and active drivers, including compliance verification, dispatch operations, payouts, and support.
2. Data We Collect
- Identity/profile details, verification events, and account activity.
- Compliance records: licence/insurance/vehicle docs, selfies, approvals, and expiry tracking.
- Vehicle details including active and additional vehicles, make/model/year/color, and capacity metadata.
- Location while online and during active orders for routing, ETA, safety, and proof.
- Earnings, payouts, tips, tax-support records, payout failures, and reconciliation history.
- Support chat, incident reports, low-rating flags, and compliance tasks.
Movygo may review submitted documents using manual review processes, automated fraud-detection tools, metadata analysis, image integrity checks, third-party verification providers, or other reasonable compliance methods. Submission of a document does not guarantee approval.
Any background check, document review, identity verification, or compliance review is limited in scope and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of safety, future conduct, legal compliance, driving ability, insurance coverage, or suitability for any particular service.
3. Why We Use Driver Data
- Onboard and verify eligibility to accept orders.
- Rank and dispatch orders based on operational rules.
- Provide trip navigation, tracking, and proof workflows.
- Process payouts and tax-related reporting support.
- Detect fraud, enforce safety standards, and resolve disputes/incidents.
4. Sharing
- Customers: limited operational profile details (for example first name, vehicle, ETA, status updates).
- Service providers: hosting, messaging, mapping, analytics, verification, and payment/payout processors.
- Legal/safety: where required by law or to protect people, rights, and platform integrity.
5. Communications and Monitoring
Driver support chat and in-app communication records may be monitored/reviewed for safety, fraud detection, compliance escalation, and service quality. Automated tools may assist triage and policy checks.
6. Retention and Security
Driver records are retained for legal, tax, accounting, safety, and dispute requirements. Some data may be retained for up to 7 years or longer where legally required or when investigations are active. Movygo applies safeguards appropriate to data sensitivity.
7. Rights
Subject to legal limits, drivers may request access and correction, and may request deletion where permitted. Certain records cannot be removed immediately due to legal retention, anti-fraud, safety, or dispute obligations.
8. Consent Audit and Policy Acceptance Records
When you create a driver account, accept our Terms or Privacy Policy, acknowledge policy updates, or submit compliance documents through the platform, Movygo records the date, time, IP address, device type, and approximate location associated with your acceptance to the extent technically available. These consent audit records serve as evidence of your consent and the version of the applicable policy at the time of acceptance.
If our Terms or Privacy Policy are updated, we may prompt you to re-accept the updated version through the app or website. Continued use after an update is effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Movygo retains consent records for legal, compliance, audit, and dispute-resolution purposes for at least the duration of your account plus any applicable legal retention period.
