3. How We Use Personal Information

4. Communications and Support Monitoring

Support chats, call metadata, and in-app messages may be logged and reviewed for safety, quality assurance, fraud prevention, and dispute handling. We may use automated tools for FAQ, routing, and abuse detection.

Users authorize Movygo and drivers to collect and use proof-of-pickup photos, proof-of-delivery photos, timestamps, GPS records, route data, and communications records for operational, fraud prevention, safety, dispute resolution, and compliance purposes.

5. Sharing of Information

Movygo does not sell personal information as a standalone business model.

6. Cookies, SDKs, and Analytics

We and our partners may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies for login persistence, measurement, diagnostics, personalization, and fraud controls.

7. Retention and Security

Records are retained only as needed for operations, legal obligations, taxes, accounting, and dispute/safety needs. Some records may be retained for up to 7 years or longer when required by law or active investigations/litigation. No transmission/storage method is fully risk-free, but we use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.

8. Children and Eligibility

Movygo services are not intended for children below the age required under applicable law to form a valid contract. If we learn personal data was provided by an ineligible child, we may delete that information and close the account.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to legal limits, you may request access, correction, deletion, export, and consent-withdrawal actions. Some requests may be restricted where retention is required for legal, safety, anti-fraud, accounting, or dispute reasons.

10. Cross-Border Processing

Data may be processed outside your province or outside Canada by approved service providers. Where this occurs, the data may be subject to local laws of those jurisdictions.

11. Consent Audit and Policy Acceptance Records

When you create an account, accept our Terms or Privacy Policy, or acknowledge policy updates, Movygo records the date, time, IP address, device type, and approximate location associated with your acceptance to the extent technically available. These consent audit records serve as evidence of your acceptance and the version of the applicable policy at the time of consent.

If our Terms or Privacy Policy are updated, we may prompt you to re-accept the updated version through the app or website. Continued use after an update is effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
